I went to the section of the park closest to Victoria railway station. I was waiting to collect my mum from the coach station, and had an hour to spare, so I sat down under a tree and used my magical powers to summon a flock of pigeons.
I recommend this park for its pigeons. They are very friendly and polite, and knew it was naughty to climb up on my legs, so they didn't. Very good representatives.
Grosvenor Gardens are two nice green spaces next to the hectic Victoria Station. It is formed by two small triangular gardens few meters one from the other (Lower and Upper Grosvenor Gardens). The northern / upper garden is more quiet and it contains the impressive Lioness and Lesser Kudu sculpture.
A small, dog-friendly park. The shelled sheds are pretty and intricately decorated. A lovely little oasis in the centre of Victoria
Beautiful grounds, perfect for sitting in on your lunch break. However if you are visiting london and want to have a picnic, try Hyde Park or Green Park.. they are beautiful and are huge!
Nice, little gated park area 100 m back from the walls of Buckingham Palace grounds, towards Fulham, to sit, enjoy the autumn sun and eat your Waitrose 5€ meal deal.
I visited during fall so it was cold as expected. I loved the antelope-and-lion stature at the middle of one of the gardens.
Just note they're two similar triangular gardens, located diagonally to each other.
Posh as you like, but it is very nice.
Make sure to check out the local art scene, more often than not there seems to be some kind of outside art installation here, which can be great to go and see!
Great place of respite, despite being in close proximity to main road. Close to Buckingham Palace, so good quiet stopover green square before you venture into the madness again.
